Station refurbishments from late September to mid-October.

PUBLISHED August 2024

Each of our 22 information Stations along the Walkway are being refurbished.

Visitors over the coming weeks will notice that each of our 22 Stations along the Walkway are being refurbished. We are also having two free-standing information signs (at the Walkway entrance from the hospital car park on Private Bruce Kingsbury VC, the other located near the covered BBQ area on Flight Lieut. William Newton VC) re-painted and repaired.

Work is expected to commence on 26-27 September, and should be complete by mid-October.

We apologise in advance, but these repairs are much-needed, and once finished each Station will have new protective glass covers installed, new graphics completed plus new sealing undertaken.

While this work is being undertaken, you can scan the QR code located on each Station to view the text and images on our website. Each Station web page also has the audio version of the text, plus extra images not on the actual Stations. You can start a virtual tour of the Stations here.

This project will ensure all are weatherproof and in pristine condition for many more years to come for the enjoyment of visitors to the Walkway.

We thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions please drop in at the office in the Education Centre or email admin@kokodawalkway.com.au
